Welcome: You are very welcome to attend whoever you are and whatever your stage might be on the Christian journey. You can sit where you wish – Nobody has a reserved seat ! You can expect to find about 50-60 attending. We meet for our main Sunday morning service at 10.30.
It is a time for all - families, Junior Church and children of all ages.
First time or Recent Church attender: This may be your first time in church after a number of years, or you may have moved into the area from another church. You may be on holiday or a visitor, or it may be that you have never been to a church service before – that’s just fine – we all started at some time ! You will be in a very relaxed atmosphere. Please make yourself known to us before you go.
Refreshments: Tea, Coffee, Squash and biscuits are served after most morning services.
Holy Communion: We share a service of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month to which all are invited to attend and share in the communion of bread and wine.
Service duration and Dress code: During our time together which lasts for about an hour, there is a children’s talk, a talk or sermon for the grown-ups. We do not have a dress code. Some come casually dressed while others come more smartly dressed. The choice is yours, however you come you will be most welcome.
Music and Songs: We sing songs and hymns mostly from our hymn book [Mission Praise] but all are projected onto television screens. We generally have one or two Bible readings, times of prayer . You are free to stand or sit as you wish. We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday in the month. All are invited, adults and children. Depending on the song the pipe organ or piano is used.
If you bring your own mobile phone, tablet or iPad you can follow the songs, readings and slideshow [if there is one] on your device as the service proceeds.
Church doesn’t have to be boring!
We try to make our meetings Warm – Friendly – Fun – Casual – Encouraging & Powerful… We sing together, learn to pray together, and study life truths from the Bible together. In this way, we discover God’s plan for us through the Holy Spirit’s leading in our lives.
We encourage you to come on over and join us, we’d love to get to know you.
Our mission statement: ‘We are here to worship God and proclaim the love of Jesus Christ to all’.
We believe that God really loves people, and that He wants each of us to have a close relationship with Him. This Church hopefully connects people with each other so that together we can connect with God.
Each Sunday we grow closer through our worship, and after our service stay a while for a tea or coffee and a chat.
One Sunday each month we share Holy Communion, again a time of unity.
As we do these things, spiritual growth and new friendships naturally happen!
During the week there are opportunities to participate in both spiritual and social activities.
