Our Staff
Amelia: is especially enthusiastic about Special Educational Needs [SEN], ensuring that every child is given the time and support needed to thrive. She loves our sensory room and often takes groups of children to experience calmer, quieter, sensory activities.
Cia: Maths and Science are her passion, she is always setting up activities or experiments that encourage children to develop their number, shape and critical thinking skills. She also loves messy play, coming up with different activities for the children to experiment with.
Julia: is passionate about the outside, encouraging children to investigate the outdoors environment and gain as many experiences as possible.
Petrina: The risk taker of the bunch, enjoys challenging the children to be the best that they can be. She strives to make the children as independent as they can be, and loves to see their confidence grow. Petrina really loves setting up messy play … in fact the messier the better!
Ricky: Special Educational Needs Coordinator [SENCOI] Ricky ensures that all children have strategies in place to support their needs and that the necessary paperwork is completed to obtain further support should it be required.
Val: is a good liaison between the church and the preschool.
She deals with all the administration that is required, ensuring that children are allocated spaces, funding is applied for, and that all systems are in place for the smooth running of our preschool.
Teresa: creates strong bonds with the children, especially those that need a little more support. She makes sure that any visual timetables, language books or Makaton (aid to the deaf) cards are created and used. Teresa says that she loves the physical activities, especially Bee-fit and Yoga.
